Many years ago my barn friends and I attended a dressage clinic as observers. Renowned Olympic dressage rider Steffen Peters was the clinic instructor. This dappled gray Holsteiner gelding caught my eye during his turn in the arena. His name was Cabrio.
Little did I know at the time that several years later his owner would become our dressage riding instructor. Cabrio was snow white by then, and I got to photograph him again at a local dressage show. I've always been partial to good looking grays.
